Join us to commemorate
At dawn on 25 April 1915, ANZAC troops landed at Gallipoli, starting a legacy that would live long after them.
The ANZAC Day Dawn Service echoes this moment, and the moment many a soldier has stood to arms.
Steeped in tradition, the Dawn Service is a poignant ceremony featuring the laying of wreaths, sounding of the Last Post and observance of a minute's silence.
Join the ANZAC Day Dawn Service in CARDWELL – hosted by Cardwell RSL Sub Branch – to honour all Australians and New Zealanders who have served or sacrificed in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations since World War I.
Cardwell RSL's Dawn Service will commence at 05:45 am on Saturday the 25th of April 2026 at the Cenotaph on Victoria St (Main Bruce Highway).
After the ceremony a FREE "Gunfire Breakfast' will be held at the RSL at 36 Roma St, Cardwell.
The main ceremony commences with a march which will form up opposite the Ob-La-Di shop on the Esplanade Walkway at 10:45 am.
The ANZAC Day Luncheon will be served at the RSL from 12:30 pm costing $20.00.
All are welcome.
